Do most democratic voters favor immunity for telecom giants and funding for iraq war?

Posted on February 28th, 2010 by admin in telecom | 10 Comments »

I think the answer is no. If so, why are democrats in congress about to give immunity to telecom giants for illegally spying on americans and violating the constitution in cohoots with Bush, and also why are democrats in congress about to fund once again the war they say they want to stop?

because there is no difference between the political parties. both have rubber stamped anything Bush wanted to do.
Neither Obama or McCain deserve to be rewarded with the presidency, they are both part of the same senate that presided over the mess we are in.

BlackBerry Compatible?

Posted on February 28th, 2010 by admin in telecom service providers | 1 Comment »

I need to buy a new BlackBerry and would like to do so second hand because of the gross overpricing of brand new ones. My service provider is MTS (Manitoba telecom Services).

Anyway, my question is, do I need to buy a BlackBerry that was previously used for MTS or can I buy any BlackBerry previously used for any service provider (eg. Rogers)?

You do not have to buy one that is branded by MTS, you just need to make sure that the one your getting is for your network type.. GSM vs CDMA etc..
SO if Rogers is the same type of network then a Rogers branded phone will be fine. You will however need to make sure that it is unlocked from all carriers..so you can use it on your network.

If you need more help with this including getting an unlock code for your upcoming purchase, get in contact with me and I will help you.

Other than key witnesses, has anyone ever received retroactive immunity for past crimes like the telecoms?

Posted on February 28th, 2010 by admin in telecoms | 5 Comments »

…in the Fisa bill?

I feel that I must again point out that neither the Congress, nor the President can grant immunity for violating the rights of the American people, something that they themselves, do not have.

Since the Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land, and our rights are protected by the Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments of the Constitution, and since our public servants have all taken an oath to support and defend the Constitution, they are in violation of the law when they pass bills like the FISA. Because they are in elected positions does not give them the authority to override the Constitution. When they pass laws like FISA, they are acting under color of law, but these "laws" are invalid, and the public servants who vote for them are criminals.

Kevin Marks and JP Rangaswami are introducing Ribbit VOIP platform and APIs that gives independent developers, ISVs, and global enterprises the tools and functionality to create new ways to communicate-with people, businesses, and software. Ribbit enables developers to combine the richness of voice calling with the interactivity of Web 2.0 experiences. More info at http://ribbit.com

I also ask them about how they think the telecom industry is reacting to VOIP as a threat to existing revenues and as an opportunity for creating new experiences around voice communications.
