When will telecom start using sim cards?

Posted on March 30th, 2010 by admin in telecom mobile | 2 Comments »

If telecom started using sim cards, could i buy a vodafone mobile and use my current 027 number and 2000txt to telecom plan by putting the sim in a vodafone mobile??

The answer to the last pieces of your question is likely to be no. Telecom NZ will start using sim cards when they launch there great new network next year, but no you wont be able to do that as each network will lock and block you from been able to use each others sim cards in each others handsets. This practice is common in other countries where multiple GSM networks are available, Vodafone NZ has already indicated they will block handsets from been able to operate on Telecom NZ and Telecom has mentioned similar.

Telecom or Banking Industry?

Posted on March 30th, 2010 by admin in telecom industry | 1 Comment »

If you will be given the opportunity, which will you prefer – a senior manager post to a big telco or a vp position to a largest local institution bank?

I’d take the bank job. Banks tend to be more stable environments.

Have you ever been this lonely….?????

Is it possible to track someones cell phone?

Posted on March 30th, 2010 by admin in telecom network | 3 Comments »

Is it possible to track someones cell phone without cooperation from the cell phone eg. no software needs to be installed and no calls have to be made. the phone just has to be on and within range of a network eg. telecom/vodafone
Thanks

Yes; there are a few pieces of software out there that can be installed on the phone in question. They will do the job on a phone that has a GPS feature built in. Obviously, you’d have to have access to the phone to install it. Without something SENDING the location back to you, you’d have to have the cooperation of the cell phone carrier, and even then you’d only be able to find out what tower it was talking to, which can have as much as a 5 mile radius in the average city – and 5 miles of radius gives you well over 75 square miles to cover.

And if YOU own the phone, it’s completely legal to put any software you want on it, including a tracker application.

Someone help me!!!please??? or i’ll kill myself!!!?

Yesterday we recieved our telephone bill………..the charges mentioned for this month(including costs for broadband internet, and daily land line usage) was as high as never before…..my parents got shocked and pissed off at me so much just because the broadband internet usage was the main cause for such a raise in the bill. In my home I am the only person using internet service………….and I very well know the reason why this happened…………..tis because i watched and downloaded too many porn videos this month!!!!!! and now, my mom & dad are thinking to get a detailed bill information to know whatever stuffs I had downloaded this time!!!!!! I HAVE NO IDEA! WHAT IS TO BE DONE???…… CAUSE I DONT WANT THEM TO KNOW ABOUT MY PORN VIEWING!!!(niether would anyone else)
Is there such a possibility tat one can ask for a detailed bill information mentioning about all the stuffs he had downloaded, pages visited, videos watched etc from the internet service provider……….???? If yes!………nothing would be better for me other than committing a "suicide"(seriously said) running away fom my house rather than feeling guilty and humiliated for the rest of my life!!!…………If no! I would the happiest person!! in the whole world…………please tell me if there is a way to escape this terrible situation!!!……your answers are gonna decide whether I am gonna live or die!!! i know wat i did was extremely a wrong deed!!! Is there a second chance for me????
I am a resident of India and & I use BSNL(Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) Telecom service……………..

Cool down man. in my opinion, BSNL will not reveal details of usage unless required by police. Also, don’t think about suicide or anything like that. Even in the worst case of they getting the details, you just apologize to them. Your parents will love you more than few lakhs of rupees(if that was the case) then you doing suicide or running away. Actually, you need to have used some bandwidth monitoring software like shaplus meter( http://www.shaplus.com/bandwidth-meter/ ), so you could have some idea how the usage was.

From my experience, for even normal billing problems you have to run from pillar to post inside BSNL office to sort out any problem, now getting usage details is very much complicated task than billing problems and guess how much efforts will it require.

How is Churn calculated in telecoms….?

Posted on March 30th, 2010 by admin in telecoms | 1 Comment »

when new customers are still being added?

In telecoms Churn is the difference between new customers and leavers. so basically it’s New customers minus leavers, and you hope you have a posotive result!

why does globe telecom are not supported by the yahoo mobile anymore?

Posted on March 28th, 2010 by admin in telecom mobile | 1 Comment »

where in other numbers are been accepted? what happen now? pls i want to sign in my mobie device whenever im not sign in
i wanted to sign in my yahoo messenger sms whenever i log out of it how but then i can’t edit my mobile. what happen?

All VOIP phone technology will remove call charges based upon call duration, in future you will have to just buy internet connection with particular speed and you can talk unlimited.
Existing Basic and Mobile Telephony systems want to earn as long as they can, as they have spent huge amount on the technology.
All the best, Good Luck, God Bless you.

If Bush thinks his "Spy on America" law is so vital to national security, why is he refusing to extend it?

Posted on March 28th, 2010 by admin in telecom news | 11 Comments »

Bush is blaming Congress for letting the law expire, but he could have prevented it from expiring by agreeing to let it be extended.

Bush is obviously just politically grandstanding, isn’t he? Because if he really thought national security was at stake (and if he really cared about national security?) he would have agreed to let Congress extend his "Spy on America" law a little bit longer.

"The law had been set to expire on Feb. 1. The White House reluctantly agreed to a 15-day extension but refuses to approve any more, and has appealed to House leaders to simply approve the version approved by the Senate, which includes the legal immunity for telecom companies the president wants. "

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080215/ap_on_go_co/terrorist_surveillance

He is refusing to extend it because he is an arrogant obnoxious jerk who has to have everything his way or he throws a little temper tantrum.
