Seems pretty tough. They have poor network coverage when compared to leaders like Airtel, Reliance, Tata Tele, Idea, etc. Though they come out with frequent offers their customer service and network coverage is poor. Don’t know how long they can survive. But competition is always healthy for us . We will get better plans

I am a B.Tech final year student.( ECE). I have just been selected for a telecom career program conducted by BSNL. its of 4 months duration and consists of training in 3G, Wimax, Networking and latest technologies. This is a certification program . Should I go for it or for Post Graduate diploma?

and.. if a phone is -GSM Triband (900/1800/1900MHz)… does that mean that it will not work on telecom?

the best way is to buy a phone from the area you live in so whether its dual band , tri band or quad band it will definitely work

i borrowed my cousins smart sim, and i loaded it up with 50php then i subbed to unlitext costing me 15php. then when i woke up, i received ringtones and stuff. i ignored it, then when i was about to text my friend, message sending failed. bam! i checked my balance, and it says .50php. whatta crap from smart!

You didn’t give much information in that question. What is Telecom? It’s an abbreviated word for telecommunications. It could also be a company.

Giving the make and model # of the modem might be of help. Giving the type of service Telecom intended it for might be of help.

DSL modems are pretty generic as are cable modems – most of them follow the prevailing standards. Wireless Network providers might not be so easy as they could be on licensed or unlicensed (such as WiFi) bands providing Internet Service.

I keep trying to connect but it just keeps saying "the key information exchange timed out". Though my laptop is working just fine. What the hell should I do now? coz’ nothing seems to work.

make sure that your wireless security password is WPA not WPA2 as i think that is not supported by the PS3. make sure you are entering the right password

I figure Walmart (WMT) will transform itself from the largest retailer into the largest provider of food and lodging, but I’m not sure that their post-apocalypse cash flows will justify their current market capitalization.

First of all I am from New Zealand if that helps in relation to the cellphone networks.

I am looking to buy a new phone online and the seller says the phone will work on both Vodafone and 2 Degrees networks but they are not sure if it will work on Telecom. If I put a Telecom XT sim card into this phone would it work? Or is it different to the other networks?
The cellphone will either be a Nokia 7370 or Nokia 7373.

I’ve nokia e63 & one day i found 3G written near the signals replacing the tower which used to be present there. Does it represent that the 3g service is active on my phone & i can use it or my service provider is capable of providing 3g facility or only my phone is catching those signals or is it something else . . .

3G means u r attached to 3G network, it means you can use Video calls, Data connection with good rate (Push To talk, Web browsing, Emails exchange, streaming) and voice calls, however if u r still in 2G network u’ll see E or G so you can make voice calls and data connections with lower quality.
