Is this true? Is there going to be an iPhone 5 in January?
I found this website that sounded useful.
This is what it said:
It will have metallic back and internal antenna. The phone production will start on December 2010 and it will be released on January 2011 at CES exhibition: http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20100809V…
There will be two versions: For Verizone and China Telecom a CDMA-version and other operators 3G-network version without CDMA.
Specs are quite amazing!
- Apple A5 processor, Dual Core, 2 GHz! (Uses Samsung Orion)
http://www.itproportal.com/portal/news/a…
- Multitasking version of iOS
- FM receiver and transmitter
- 8 Mpix camera with FULL HD video-support (1080p)
- 64 GB and 128 GB internal memory versions
Cannot wait to get one!!!
Do you think this could be real? Or is it some guy who just made a prank to make u believe it. What do tou guys think?
Btw, this is the website http://messages.finance.yahoo.com/Stocks_(A_to_Z)/Stocks_A/threadview?m=ts&bn=60&tid=2995915&mid=2995915&tof=18&frt=2
10 POINTS FOR BEST ANSWER!!!!!
In the website it said that the date was early as january because of the antenna issue that people were pissed off at. Fastest processor is 1.3 ghz seriously look at this http://www.slashgear.com/samsung-orion-arm-cortex-a9-pops-up-on-video-11113474/
And It also says that the iPhone 5 will have a 4.3" super amoled screen. Is apple working with samsung? I know these are just rumours but these rumours sound realistic. Anyway, thanks for answering
Fake because nearly every apple product comes out exactly every year. For example the iPhone was released on the 29th June 2007 and the next iPhone was released 11th of July I think. So it will come every year around 29th June
""DMK may expel Raja ahead of TN elections"" : How do you view this news?
OR SUBRAMAIAM SWAMY IS CORRECT THAT FORMER TELECOM MINISTER A.RAJA’S LIFE’S IS UNDER THREAT ????
http://www.deccanchronicle.com/national/dmk-may-expel-raja-ahead-tn-elections-502
This is what I term as the "Classic Damage Contol Drama" being enacted by TN’s
First Family.Normally, blockbusters are allowed to run till the grossing starts to run out.In this case, this piece is scheduled to run for a specified time to the split second with atomic clock precision with curtains coming down at close of polling time for the ensuing TN Assembly elections. With the sounding of the hour, the main
protagonist will perhaps be welcomed with open arms and much fanfare, pomp and splendour. For all one knows this may be short lived if the results of the poll go against the gang.Let us wait and watch as to what is going to unfold.Meanwhile however,Raja must be biting his nails to their cuticles because of the killing suspense.Talking of killing,Raja is under no threat. This threat business may be another drama.Everyone of this family seems to be very adept at histrionics. All
threat perceptions are bogus and a ploy to elicit sympathy.Nothing is going to work.Looks like TN is due for a change of guards, not that it is anything to look for
with anticipation.Anyway, good luck to you guys there.
Have a Day of Great Expectations.
Please explain how Network Neutrality is an example government "taking control of the Internet"?
In the Bizarro World logic of Conservatives, somehow Net Neutrality means government control. Could someone explain to me where it says this?
–
Network neutrality (also net neutrality, Internet neutrality) is a principle proposed for user access networks participating in the Internet that advocates no restrictions by Internet service providers and governments on content, sites, platforms, the kinds of equipment that may be attached, and the modes of communication.[1][2][3]
The principle states that if a given user pays for a certain level of Internet access, and another user pays for the same level of access, then the two users should be able to connect to each other at the subscribed level of access.
Though the term did not enter popular use until several years later, since the early 2000s advocates of net neutrality and associated rules have raised concerns about the ability of broadband providers to use their last mile infrastructure to block Internet applications and content (e.g., websites, services, protocols), even blocking out competitors. In the US particularly, but elsewhere as well, the possibility of regulations designed to mandate the neutrality of the Internet has been subject to fierce debate.
Neutrality proponents claim that telecom companies seek to impose a tiered service model in order to control the pipeline and thereby remove competition, create artificial scarcity, and oblige subscribers to buy their otherwise uncompetitive services. Many believe net neutrality to be primarily important as a preservation of current freedoms.[4] Vinton Cerf, considered a "father of the Internet" and co-inventor of the Internet Protocol, Tim Berners-Lee, creator of the Web, and many others have spoken out in favor of network neutrality.[citation needed]
Opponents of net neutrality characterize its regulations as "a solution in search of a problem", arguing that broadband service providers have no plans to block content or degrade network performance.[5] In spite of this claim, certain Internet service providers have intentionally slowed peer-to-peer (P2P) communications.[6] Still other companies have acted in contrast to these assertions of hands-off behavior and have begun to use deep packet inspection to discriminate against P2P, FTP and online games, instituting a cell-phone style billing system of overages, free-to-telecom "value added" services, and bundling.[7] Critics of net neutrality also argue that data discrimination of some kinds, particularly to guarantee quality of service, is not problematic, but is actually highly desirable. Bob Kahn, the other co-inventor of the Internet Protocol, has called the term net neutrality a "slogan" and states that he opposes establishing it, but he admits that he is against the fragmentation of the net whenever this becomes excluding to other participants.[8]

Tax Senior — you’re mis-characterizing the bill. If the guy outside of town only pays for a certain speed, that’s all he gets. That’s the way it works today, and NN doesn’t change that.
Get a clue and try again.
Every time they give you a brief analysis of what an act or law is supposed to do, they do not really explain the entire thing nor do they allow us to see in their brief explanation the negative effects.
Net neutrality WILL allow them to control your bandwidth thereby making them your censor.
Anything that gives them control of the internet takes control away from the people.
There is no need for this other than to stop real information and make it so that we are only able to hear whatever propaganda whom ever is on control at the time wants us to hear.
If you cannot see this that you have bought into their garbage far more than any person with any sense.
Just like Obama’s Health Care bill was supposed to LOWER costs but it raised them, this piece of garbage is intended to keep information away from the public.
Neutrality my @ss
The intention is to neutralize free speech and to stop he public from being able to communicate with eachother.
Wouldn’t Telecom be a hell of a lot cheaper if 3G was standardised on every phone. That would make texts free!?
I mean: if we all payed a monthly internet, fee the greedy Telecom providers couldn’t charge us for texts and calls in the same way. Text’s are outrageously expensive and they only fit around 160 symbols. This is becoming more of a problem as full keyboards on phones become more and more popular. It’s a really outdated system. What do you think?
If you don’t think that around 160 symbols are enough, then get a phone that has more. Many do. But their plans are more expensive.
See, for example, http://www.unicode.org/mail-arch/unicode-ml/y2010-m11/0147.html .
I am not aware that text is “free” anywhere. But some plans now offer unlimited texting. 3G will eventually be the norm. Some phones already use 4G.
You may have to be prepared to talk to a number of people at your phone company until you find one who actually knows what he can offer you beyond the norm. See, for example, http://iphonenews.ca/index.php/2008/rogers-wireless/unlimited-text-messaging-with-rogers/ .
Should muslims petition for the death of Facebook’s founder?
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/06/17/zuckerberg_faces_criminal_investigation_in_pakistan/
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is being investigated by Pakistani police under a section of the penal code that makes blasphemy against Muhammad punishable by death.
BBC Urdu reports — according to a Google Translation — that Pakistan’s Deputy Attorney General has launched a criminal investigation against Zuckerberg and others in response to Facebook hosting a "Draw Muhammad" contest on its site late last month. On May 19, Pakistani authorities blocked access to Facebook over the contest, and this ban was lifted on May 31 after Facebook removed the page in Pakistan and other countries.
Asked to comment, a Facebook spokeswoman told us the company does not comment on legal matters.
Last month, according to English-language Pakistani newspaper The News International, a Pakistani High Court judge summoned the police after lawyer Muhammad Azhar Siddique filed an application for a First Information Report (FIR), claiming that the owners of Facebook had committed a heinous and serious crime under Section 295-C of the Pakistan Penal Code. In essence, an FIR launches a criminal investigation. But no charges have been filed.
According to the paper, Section 295-C of the penal code reads: "Use of derogatory remark etc, in respect of the Holy Prophet, whoever by words, either spoken or written, or by visible representation, or by any imputation, innuendo, or insinuation, directly or indirectly, defiles the sacred name of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) shall be punished with death, or imprisonment for life, and shall also be liable for fine."
So, peace be unto Muhammad. But not unto Mark Zuckerberg.
According to two reports — one at Boxcrack.net, a kind of citizen journalism site run by Privacy International, and another at Pro Pakistani, a Pakistani Telecom and IT news site that lifted the news from BBC Urdu — the Deputy Attorney General has indeed lodged an FIR against Zuckerberg, fellow co-founders Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes, and "Andy", the German woman who initiated the Draw Muhammad contest under a pseudonym.
According to Pro Paskistani, petitioner Muhammad Azhar Sidiqque said he’s waiting for the police to contact Interpol about making arrangements for the arrest of Facebook’s owners and "Andy". The site also says that the Deputy Attorney General told the High Court that Pakistan’s United Nations representative has asked to escalate the issue in the UN General Assembly. ®
strange, the Islamic religion doesn’t seem to have much room for forgiveness,
Why isnt there more talk in the news media about prosecuting the telecom companies?
that actively participated in wiretapping citizens of the United States without warrants? It obviously was a judgement call made by a few people to cooperate with President Bush so why cant they be charged?
It doesn’t have the simpleminded basis for legal intervention that a BJ did.
We are a tabloid society, anything more complicated than sex doesn’t get air time.
When was the last time you saw a clear and concise explanation of the candidates stances on real issure vs. Michelles Dress, or Cindys Money?
