Is this true? Is there going to be an iPhone 5 in January?
I found this website that sounded useful.
This is what it said:
It will have metallic back and internal antenna. The phone production will start on December 2010 and it will be released on January 2011 at CES exhibition: http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20100809V…
There will be two versions: For Verizone and China Telecom a CDMA-version and other operators 3G-network version without CDMA.
Specs are quite amazing!
- Apple A5 processor, Dual Core, 2 GHz! (Uses Samsung Orion)
http://www.itproportal.com/portal/news/a…
- Multitasking version of iOS
- FM receiver and transmitter
- 8 Mpix camera with FULL HD video-support (1080p)
- 64 GB and 128 GB internal memory versions
Cannot wait to get one!!!
Do you think this could be real? Or is it some guy who just made a prank to make u believe it. What do tou guys think?
Btw, this is the website http://messages.finance.yahoo.com/Stocks_(A_to_Z)/Stocks_A/threadview?m=ts&bn=60&tid=2995915&mid=2995915&tof=18&frt=2
10 POINTS FOR BEST ANSWER!!!!!
In the website it said that the date was early as january because of the antenna issue that people were pissed off at. Fastest processor is 1.3 ghz seriously look at this http://www.slashgear.com/samsung-orion-arm-cortex-a9-pops-up-on-video-11113474/
And It also says that the iPhone 5 will have a 4.3" super amoled screen. Is apple working with samsung? I know these are just rumours but these rumours sound realistic. Anyway, thanks for answering
Fake because nearly every apple product comes out exactly every year. For example the iPhone was released on the 29th June 2007 and the next iPhone was released 11th of July I think. So it will come every year around 29th June
""DMK may expel Raja ahead of TN elections"" : How do you view this news?
OR SUBRAMAIAM SWAMY IS CORRECT THAT FORMER TELECOM MINISTER A.RAJA’S LIFE’S IS UNDER THREAT ????
http://www.deccanchronicle.com/national/dmk-may-expel-raja-ahead-tn-elections-502
This is what I term as the "Classic Damage Contol Drama" being enacted by TN’s
First Family.Normally, blockbusters are allowed to run till the grossing starts to run out.In this case, this piece is scheduled to run for a specified time to the split second with atomic clock precision with curtains coming down at close of polling time for the ensuing TN Assembly elections. With the sounding of the hour, the main
protagonist will perhaps be welcomed with open arms and much fanfare, pomp and splendour. For all one knows this may be short lived if the results of the poll go against the gang.Let us wait and watch as to what is going to unfold.Meanwhile however,Raja must be biting his nails to their cuticles because of the killing suspense.Talking of killing,Raja is under no threat. This threat business may be another drama.Everyone of this family seems to be very adept at histrionics. All
threat perceptions are bogus and a ploy to elicit sympathy.Nothing is going to work.Looks like TN is due for a change of guards, not that it is anything to look for
with anticipation.Anyway, good luck to you guys there.
Have a Day of Great Expectations.
Should muslims petition for the death of Facebook’s founder?
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/06/17/zuckerberg_faces_criminal_investigation_in_pakistan/
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is being investigated by Pakistani police under a section of the penal code that makes blasphemy against Muhammad punishable by death.
BBC Urdu reports — according to a Google Translation — that Pakistan’s Deputy Attorney General has launched a criminal investigation against Zuckerberg and others in response to Facebook hosting a "Draw Muhammad" contest on its site late last month. On May 19, Pakistani authorities blocked access to Facebook over the contest, and this ban was lifted on May 31 after Facebook removed the page in Pakistan and other countries.
Asked to comment, a Facebook spokeswoman told us the company does not comment on legal matters.
Last month, according to English-language Pakistani newspaper The News International, a Pakistani High Court judge summoned the police after lawyer Muhammad Azhar Siddique filed an application for a First Information Report (FIR), claiming that the owners of Facebook had committed a heinous and serious crime under Section 295-C of the Pakistan Penal Code. In essence, an FIR launches a criminal investigation. But no charges have been filed.
According to the paper, Section 295-C of the penal code reads: "Use of derogatory remark etc, in respect of the Holy Prophet, whoever by words, either spoken or written, or by visible representation, or by any imputation, innuendo, or insinuation, directly or indirectly, defiles the sacred name of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) shall be punished with death, or imprisonment for life, and shall also be liable for fine."
So, peace be unto Muhammad. But not unto Mark Zuckerberg.
According to two reports — one at Boxcrack.net, a kind of citizen journalism site run by Privacy International, and another at Pro Pakistani, a Pakistani Telecom and IT news site that lifted the news from BBC Urdu — the Deputy Attorney General has indeed lodged an FIR against Zuckerberg, fellow co-founders Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes, and "Andy", the German woman who initiated the Draw Muhammad contest under a pseudonym.
According to Pro Paskistani, petitioner Muhammad Azhar Sidiqque said he’s waiting for the police to contact Interpol about making arrangements for the arrest of Facebook’s owners and "Andy". The site also says that the Deputy Attorney General told the High Court that Pakistan’s United Nations representative has asked to escalate the issue in the UN General Assembly. ®
strange, the Islamic religion doesn’t seem to have much room for forgiveness,
Why isnt there more talk in the news media about prosecuting the telecom companies?
that actively participated in wiretapping citizens of the United States without warrants? It obviously was a judgement call made by a few people to cooperate with President Bush so why cant they be charged?
It doesn’t have the simpleminded basis for legal intervention that a BJ did.
We are a tabloid society, anything more complicated than sex doesn’t get air time.

News Update: Verizon makes statement on FCC vote on broadband inquiry
The Federal Communications Commission approved a Notice of Inquiry by a 3-2 vote to begin public consideration of possible legal frameworks for commission action on broadband Internet services. The following is a statement by Tom Tauke, Verizon executive vice president for public affairs, policy and communications: “Reclassifying high-speed broadband Internet service as a telecom service is a terrible idea. The negative consequences for online users and the Internet ecosystem would be severe and have ramifications for decades. It is difficult to understand why the FCC continues to consider this option. Rather than attempting to make the new world of broadband fit into the regulatory scheme of the old telephone world, the FCC should acknowledge that this is an issue Congress should address. Nearly 300 members of Congress have signed letters to the FCC, warning against reclassification and expressing support for congressional action. We will continue to work with the Congress, the FCC and other interested parties to resolve these issues in a manner that encourages investment, innovation, jobs and the best possible online experience for users.”
