Can someone let me know from where i can get the telecommunication industry’s customer data ?

Posted on August 18th, 2011 by admin in telecom industry | 1 Comment »

This is for my project work. The subject of my project is data mining and the data needed by me is telecom industry’s customer data! kindly help !

it’s like asking to count the number of gold bars in Ft Knox

nope – that’s THEIR customer data base – and with customers ‘jumping ship’
to other carriers – they will NOT want to lose any business

who knows who will see your project

second reason) it’s called identity theft – it’s protected

so sorry

I’ve started work in telecoms, am I being asked to commit fraud?

Posted on August 16th, 2011 by admin in telecoms | 2 Comments »

As a new starter, I’m doing everything I’m told. We provide telephone systems for businesses, and I have been asked a few times, to phone up BT, pretend to be the customer/work for the company, and find out when their contract ends with BT, so the salesmen know it is worth chasing the company or not, is this fraud? If so should I do anything about it?

I can’t begin to describe how illegal this is. You should contact the information commissioner’s office and report the company. The law as it stands will blame you and not your company for this.

Just out of interest, where is it you work?

Why branding is important in telecom industry?

Posted on August 6th, 2011 by admin in telecom industry | 1 Comment »

Branding is important in every industry. Without going into too much typing I will refer you to this site http://marketing.about.com/cs/brandmktg/a/whatisbranding.htm

wots the name of that site BT is trying to block you access to this site?

Posted on August 2nd, 2011 by admin in telecom news | 4 Comments »

its recently been headline news, its for downloading or streaming movies or something,,,,ive been offline all week if yr thinking why im asking.

BT (British Telecom) once run the UK’s telephone networks until Virgin and Sky stepped in.

It’s called "Newzbin2". Studios in Hollywood presurized BT into blocking such site for illegal file sharing.

If the domestic spying issue is really legal, why does the pres. say the telecom industry could face bankrupt?

Posted on July 29th, 2011 by admin in telecom industry | 1 Comment »

If it really were legal, people would have no cause in court to file a claim. I’m confused. He said that without this spying on American people, more will die. How many have been saved? Can he prove to anyone that this plan even works?Eavesdropping can lead to insider trading, loss of corporate secrets among other issues facing our nation. Who’s monitoring the monitors?

We are a nation in a state of war.

The President believes he has certain rights and obligations as commander in chief. Congress believes that he has overstepped his authority in certain areas, but not yet seriously enough to warrant impeachment.
Since they disagree whether some stuff is legal or not, it is working its way through the court system, which hates to get in the middle between President and Congress, but sometimes has to.

Congress agrees that because we are at war, some extraordinary things have to be done, that would not be done in peacetime. They keep trying to help the President by passing legislation to make legal what they think the President is trying to do.

The President is limited in what he can tell Congress because there have been some awful leaks.

For example, representatives of the President gave a briefing in secret to Congress, in which they were told that the CIA and NSA were listening in on cell phone calls made by bin Laden and his people. Some staffer leaked this to the news media, and now al Qaeda is no longer using cell phones. That staffer belongs in prison for treason, or maybe even executed. But staffers do that kind of thing all the time, so the President does not want to tell Congress all that he is doing to fight the terrorists, because he knows some employee of Congress will leak it to the news media, and then the enemy will know.

Who monitors the monitors? That’s another problem. The GAO and Inspector Generals are supposed to, but they can only monitor if they have security clearance which the people to be monitored are being very sluggish about giveing out. So whistle blowers can’t go to Congress, or GAO, or IGs, they can only go to someone who has the right security clearance.

How many have been saved?
Well look at all the alleged terrorists who have been arrested. If they had not been caught, how much damage would they have done?
* Lots of explosions at military bases
* Entire city of New York afire due to all the oil refineries and chemical plants busted open and the toxic chemicals on fire
* Bomb in Subway while it going under a skyscraper

How much of that was stopped because of the domestic espionage? While the war is still going on, it is impractical to make public what our counter intelligence knows about the enemy, without tipping off the enemy

Why Media and TV News channels not giving details of our Supreme Court of India’s timely interventions ?

Posted on July 25th, 2011 by admin in telecom news | 1 Comment »

Our India Supreme court donot intervene in Government functioning. The Supreme court gets Judgement Orders for various cases from All over India,of Corruptions, Graft, Thefts of Food grains in STC and PDS and sometimes State Govt Officials and Ministers too, so to give Correct Judgement, they shud be role model to put Judgement order being Final court.

If they give Judgements ignoring present worst corruption, Graft Wastage Grains , then the Defendent will claim that it is Partisan showing for Union Ministers, concession and common citizen or corporate or state Govt Ministers or officials Punishment oders, when they show proofs as of happenings now.

So they took decisions on Central Govt so that Justice is equal.

Also If Congress High command tries to Molify Supreme court Judges too like they have done to CBI in the recent Purulia arms dropping case making Ex Director Mr.Dutta in a fix in front of Media and People , then the whole country’s image and revenue will be lost. So Supreme court took this situation may be the reason.

So Our P.M. is getting watched by all, as Revenue shud not go out thru him.

Resignations is a clever exercise involving one individual, and if any one is removed he may became approvar and prove the Head’s involvement confessions are the may be reasons.

P.M. Says he is not aware of Telecom Policy Norms, then what about PMO Burecrats who knows all Ministries’s activities and responsibilities with whom P.M. shud have asked or discussed to Learn when Mr.Subramanyaswamy sent sanctions permission,2 G, Devos ISRO, ONGC- Reliance CAG Findings etc, and his own Sunglu Report action fate is known and a money waste.

Mr.Chidambram says 2011 criminal & L&O. cases Less, so full credit to State Govts as he always says State’s duty.

Am I right ?

Is mobile phone hacking carried out by telecom data centre employees who are given backhanders from outsiders?

Posted on July 21st, 2011 by admin in telecom news | 3 Comments »

Outsiders being: corrupt police officials, business men, journalists, government persons etc? And are they creating a smokescreen when news reports say hacking someones’ mobile phone is simple and straightforward – when if a little socratical thought is used, one knows this is NOT the case.

So who is REALLY to blame. And should the whistle be blown on the mobile phone data centre insiders who are able to gain access to computer servers that store customers information on, including text messages and answer phone messages?

Do you have even the slightest evidence that such hacking takes place? No, I thought not.

It is FAR more likely that hacking occurs because people can easily do so just by scanning the signal from the phone. It IS simple, really. If you decide to transmit information over public airways, you must allow for the chance that they will be hacked.

which telecom provider is d best in india?

Posted on July 18th, 2011 by admin in telecom provider | 6 Comments »

For land line connections BSNL or MTNL is the best.

For cellular connections, it depends on the city/state where you live or work. Pan India operators like Airtel, Tata Docomo, Idea, Vodafone, Reliance are good. So decide yourself after checking with your friends who use different service providers.
