why dont telecom etc just say no to government spy tactics?

in fact, why dont we all say " no more " to this useless government.

Well it’s about time people in Britain woken up to the Lib/Lab/Con Stasi Marxism that has existed for years and years now. As long as people keep voting for this liberal elitism. nothing will ever change here in the UK. The telecoms companies are run by the same elite lot unfortunately and they all owe favours to the govt, and even if they did say NO to the govt, they would be threatened with losing their operators licence.

What are we going to do about it? Oh, we’ll just keep voting for them and and using the services all the same.

    This is nothing new – they have been required to keep records of phone calls, text messages etc for over two years. Now they are being asked to store them by name or number

    It is a pity that most Daily Mail readers cant read past the headline before getting all incandescent with rage. Perhaps if they did heart attacks would be avoided.
